State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin instructed MPs to invite US Ambassador Lynn Tracy to the State Duma due to lack of response from Undersecretary of State American for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland at the invitation of the Commission on Biolaboratories.
Volodin called this lack of respect for parliament. According to him, the United States proclaims the norms of democracy, but not only violates them, but does everything so that they do not exist.
“Invite the American ambassador and ask her if Nuland is responsible to come here, if she is responsible to the commission, to the representatives of the people. They have one thing in words, but another in deeds,” Volodin said.
Deputies of the State Duma meeting in plenary session today consider the final report of the commission on biolaboratories.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the United States was implementing a program to build biological laboratories in Ukraine, as well as expanding the training format for Ukrainian biologists.
The Volodin message instructed the deputies to invite the US Ambassador to the State Duma for Nuland to appear to testify for the first time on the current articles.
