Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Three goals against Umm Salal .. Al-Sadd to the semi-finals of the most expensive cups

Al-Sadd defeated Umm Salal (3-1) today, Tuesday, to qualify for the semi-finals of His Highness the Amir Football Cup.

Al Haidoos put Al Sadd ahead in the 52nd minute with a stunning long range free kick.

Afif doubled the score with a shot from inside the area in the 57th minute. The referee awarded the goal after reviewing the video technology due to doubts about a violation during the preparation for the goal.

Yassin Al-Bakhit pulled one back for Umm Salal in the 82nd minute, with a shot from inside the area.

Al-Kaabi completed the Al-Sadd hat-trick in stoppage time with a header, after preparing a header also from his colleague Baghdad Bounedjah.

Al-Sadd, who holds the record number of times crowned with the Emir’s Cup title, is seeking to save its season as it retreats in the race to win the Stars League title and lost the Qatar Cup title and also did not succeed in the Professional Clubs League Cup.

Umm Salal won the Emir of Qatar Cup title only once, 15 years ago.
