Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Russian army will receive a ranged sniper complex “Robosniper”

The Russian army will be equipped with a new remote-controlled sniper system called Robosniper. According to a source from RIA Novosti, the system has been successfully tested at the factory and will soon be sent for trial operation to the troops.

“Robosniper” was developed by the Integrated Systems Design Bureau in collaboration with “Lobaev Robotics”. Although performance characteristics have not been announced, the project is a development of the Anti-Maidan-Frontier research work. The founder of Lobaev Arms, Vladislav Lobaev, said that the purpose of this project was to create a sniper anti-drone robotic complex. This system could be used to combat small unmanned aerial vehicles, which would save expensive missiles.

“Robosniper” can be an effective tool for the military, allowing them to perform accurate strikes over long distances using a remote control. Such a system can also reduce the risk to snipers, who often have to stay in the combat zone to deliver accurate shots. At the moment, it is not known exactly when the “Robosniper” will be put into combat operation, but its appearance could change the technological image of modern military tactics.
