During the celebration of Easter, a child can eat too many foods that are not very healthy and even harmful for him, said Niso Odinaeva, director of children’s NIKI, chief independent pediatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region. It is quoted by Moslenta.
According to the expert, Easter dishes are traditionally prepared with large amounts of butter, sugar and other sweet ingredients, the abuse of which is harmful for children.
So, if you eat such products too much, you can cause nausea or vomiting, stool disorders or allergies in a child. At the same time, the expert pointed out the need to store Easter products in the refrigerator, as they are a breeding ground for intestinal bacteria.
Odinaeva recommended eating Easter cakes and cottage cheese desserts only after the main meal, while children under the age of six should not be given festive salads, meat and fish dishes. Even after age 6, “adult” meals can be given to the child in doses, she says.
