St. Petersburg investigators are investigating the circumstances of the death of Vadim Volkov, an artist of the Youth Theater on the Fontanka. There were reports that the actor could be the victim of a drunken accident with an electric scooter.
The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, has already asked to verify this version of Volkov’s death. Earlier, reports surfaced on social media that the actor was hit by a drunk 18-year-old boy on an electric scooter.
If this information is confirmed, a criminal case will be initiated. Bastrykin instructed the head of the St. Petersburg department of the United Kingdom to establish the cause of Volkov’s death.
