The launch ceremony of the Nepali book New Age in China was held in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu on Saturday. About 200 guests including Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha were present in it. The Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister congratulated on the publication of the book China in the New Era. He expressed confidence that Nepali readers will get more information on China’s development from this book.
Please tell that the author of this book is Chetnath, a senior journalist working in the Nepali language department of China Media Group. He introduced the background of writing this book and its main theme in this ceremony. Chetnath said that while working in China for many years, he saw with his own eyes the great achievements of the Chinese people under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping. In his new book, he particularly discussed China’s experiences of poverty alleviation, which Nepal needs to learn a lesson.
