Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended hearty greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In a tweet from the Chief Minister’s Office on Saturday, Yogi Adityanath said, “The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr brings a message of happiness and reconciliation. This festival gives the message of peace and harmony. Everyone should take a pledge to further strengthen harmony and social harmony on the festival of Eid. He has appealed to the people to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr by taking all precautions in view of Corona infection.

Special Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said on Saturday that Eid prayers were completed safely at 31,838 places in the state and there was no report of any untoward incident due to everyone’s efforts and efficient management. The festival of Eid is being celebrated with enthusiasm in the entire state including Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh since morning on Saturday. Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were offered at Aishbagh Eidgah in Lucknow, in which people offered prayers under the Imamate of Imam Eidgah Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali and made special prayers for peace and peace in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and the entire country.

Candidates of various parties and Congress leaders were also seen at Idgah in the urban body elections to be held in Lucknow. Earlier on Friday, Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali, Sadar (Chairman) of Markazi Chand Committee Farangi Mahal and Qazi-e-Shahar, Imam of Idgah Lucknow had announced that Shawwal’s moon has sighted on April 21, hence Eid-ul-Fitr. Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22. On the last Friday of the month of Ramzan, Juma Alvida prayers were offered by the Muslim community in the mosques of the state. For this, elaborate security arrangements were made in the state.

Special Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said in a statement issued here on Thursday that farewell prayers would be offered in 29,439 mosques in the state. He said that on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, apart from 24,439 mosques, prayers will also be offered in 3,865 Eidgahs. Kumar had said that in view of the prayers of goodbye and Eid-ul-Fitr, 2,933 sensitive places have been identified in all the districts of the state and the police has made arrangements for the police force by creating 849 zones and 2460 sectors.

He informed that 249 companies of PAC force, three companies of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), five CAFs and seven thousand under-training sub-inspectors have been deployed from the headquarters level for the safe conduct of goodbye prayers and Eid-ul-Fitr. The force is organized under the leadership of Gazetted Officers. Kumar said that apart from this, a team of women and policemen in plain clothes have been deployed with body-worn cameras and wine coolers on the occasion of goodbye prayers, and drone cameras and high-powered CCTV cameras have also been installed to monitor the prayer places. went.
