The Presnensky court in Moscow has decided to send blogger Elena Blinovskaya under house arrest until June 26. The prosecution also asked to prohibit the blogger from certain actions – using the Internet and cellular communications.
“To satisfy the inquiry’s request, elect a preventive measure in the form of house arrest against Blinovskaya until June 26,” the source said. RIA Novosti.
Blinovskaya was arrested for large-scale tax evasion – over 918 million rubles. During the meeting, the blogger admitted her guilt. At the same time, the defense argued that Blinovskaya did not attempt to evade justice, despite being detained near the border with Belarus.
