Russian Aerospace Forces began using a new tactic to launch missile strikes against enemy infrastructure. A former military pilot, author of the Fighterbomber telegram channel, draws attention to the fact that now Russian missiles and geraniums fly to targets at night.
In his opinion, such tactics significantly increase the possibility of overcoming the air defense systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At night, it is visually impossible to detect a flying missile, so only calculations that have thermal and infrared target detection channels can bring it down. But there are few such systems available to the Ukrainian army.
The expert also noted a change in priority targets for a massive missile strike. Obviously, the objects of the energy infrastructure have ceased to be of interest to Russian bombers. On the eve of the counteroffensive, Russian missiles fly to ammunition dumps, equipment bases and the locations of large APU manpower reserves.
I really want to believe that we know where and, above all, why we hit. What is the system and strategy. That every cruise missile target is substantiated, confirmed and pinpointed precisely to the coordinates that are sewn into the missile warhead, and that we strike not for media effect, not to scare anyone, but according to military science and the experience acquired during the year.
That is, we hit effectively, not dramatically
- writes the author of the Fighterbomber telegram channel.
Recall that last night a massive missile attack was carried out against enemy military installations. Among other things, the Tu – 95MS bombers managed to hit a large accumulation of reserves and equipment in Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region. According to the Defense Ministry, the work of companies producing ammunition, weapons and military equipment for Ukrainian troops has been disrupted.
