Oncologist Dmitry Shabanov explained to the portal Woman.ru why Russian doctors failed to save the life of fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.
As it turned out, Valentin Yudashkin had cancer, which he had been battling since 2016. Although the official cause of death of the fashion designer is not disclosed, many are inclined to believe that it was oncology that struck down Valentin Abramovich at the age of 60.
“Most likely, the cancer was simply not found at an early stage. The disease can be skillfully disguised. The later the stage of detection, the stronger the consequences of exposure to the body,” said Shabanov.
If the cancer has passed into the fourth stage, then its spread is already difficult to stop and metastases are added, which significantly increase the risks. If they enter the brain, then even with a slight deterioration in health, a person can die.
“Literally 1-2 days: the metastasis squeezed the nerve ending, and that’s all,” the oncologist explained.
In conclusion, the specialist shared his thoughts on why Yudashkin was not taken abroad for treatment. Probably, in his opinion, the patient did not need treatment, but palliative care.
“And in general, the desire of a person to get into European centers is not always true. Our hospitals are no worse,” Shabanov believes.
Many domestic drugs are much more effective and it was they who allowed the Russian fashion designer to live a little more.
