First of all, according to the military department, military units and subunits deployed in the Grodno, Brest and Minsk regions will be checked. First Deputy Defense Minister Major General Viktor Gulevich will carry out the check.
In addition to Air Force and Air Defense Force units, Armed Forces Special Operations Forces, Operational Commands, Missile Forces and Artillery, support units will also be involved. The ministry clarified that the development of practical actions is planned during exercises and training of different sizes, “during some of them it is planned to call up conscripts, the total number of which will not exceed one thousand people”.
A feature of the verification, the agency informs, will be the testing of the formation of militia units and their performance of combat training tasks in the interest of maintaining martial law. Additionally, the unit’s combat training tasks will be carried out at multiple training grounds and areas of the field.
In addition, it became known that the aircrews of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, as well as the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces, will patrol the airspace of the Republic of Belarus.
