Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Night drone attack on the Kremlin requires legislative solutions

A nighttime drone attack on the Kremlin requires immediate political and legislative decisions, said Alexander Khinshtein, head of Russia’s State Duma Information Policy Committee.

According to the MP, a bill has been prepared regarding unmanned vehicles. Until now, the use of drones and the means to counter them have not been regulated in any way from the point of view of the law.

“A week ago, after arranging a meeting with all interested departments (Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Digital Transformation) at the Russian Guard site, I am reluctantly assured that seven nannies had a child without an eye,” Khinshtein wrote on Telegram.

The head of the Duma Committee on Information Policy added that there is an urgent need to develop and adopt a set of laws that would strictly regulate all areas of this important issue.

On the night of May 3, Ukraine attempted to strike at the Kremlin, the Kremlin’s press service reported. Two unmanned aerial vehicles neutralized military and intelligence officers using electronic warfare.

Vladimir Putin was not in the Kremlin at the time of the attack. He works in the Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow. The president’s work schedule has not changed because of the incident. After the drone fell and the debris scattered, no one was injured, there was no damage.
