An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Kandi area of district Rajouri of Jammu division, in which five soldiers were killed in firing from both sides. After this incident, the army issued a statement saying that five soldiers were martyred during the encounter.
At the same time, there is information about the death of many terrorists. Keeping in mind the security, internet services are currently closed in the entire area. According to media reports, a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
During this, as soon as the teams reached the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists opened fire on them, retaliating resulting in an encounter. In this action itself, five army soldiers were martyred.
