Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

NRIs should oppose baseless statements about their country: Jagdeep Dhankhar

London: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said that India is proud of its 3.2 crore worldwide diaspora and should continue to oppose baseless statements about the nation by having them as its ambassadors. Dhankhar, who is on a two-day visit to Britain to attend the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey in London, in his address narrated the great development work being done by India and its success story and said that India’s democracy has no match . He talked about the achievements of the country’s golden age under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and marked 75 years of India’s independence and highlighted the government’s goal of India becoming the third largest economy by the end of the decade.

Dhankhar said that the moment of pride has come for India and that moment is being reflected from the ground reality. The world is recognizing it. He told the people that each one of you has to be a moment-to-moment ambassador of India. India is now the hub of manufacturing activity for the world. Therefore, I would request all of you to contribute to the development of the country, enhance its reputation and ensure that false, baseless, statements do not find prominence in the public domain.
