Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

how Putin dominated the elite, an expert explained

Vladimir Putin knew how to deprive the representatives of the pro-Western elite of any lever of influence on power and decision-making processes.

This was said by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the “Moscow speaks” radio.

According to him, the head of state has not listened to the many voices that have been heard from many different political movements, indicating the need for the most severe suppression of liberals and oligarchs by brute force.

Instead, as the expert explained, the president decided to eliminate the very model that produced the appearance in Russia of undesirable elements in the system of power. The oligarchs and liberal officials were the result of the country’s stay in the Western project.

At the beginning of 2022, Putin decided to remove the Russian Federation from this system and build ours. And now, on its own, it does not foresee the presence of either oligarchs or a clan of pro-Western liberal bureaucrats. Therefore, they lost their power.

“Any coup attempt to restore the old relationship with the West by Putin was completely out of the question. Russia will never return to the position of a subordinate party, so those who disagree with they have no place in the system of state administration,” Khazin explained.
