New Delhi: On the request of NIA, Interpol has issued a Blue Notice against gangster Harjot Singh living in America. Sources gave this information on Thursday. The notice was issued last month. Blue notices are often issued to collect additional information about an offender. NIA has already issued look out circulars against Amrik Singh and Mandeep Singh who are hiding in Philippines. The circular has also been issued against Jagdeep Singh alias Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang member Satnam Singh alias Satta, who is hiding in Greece and some others, who are hiding in the above mentioned three countries.
The NIA wants to identify their exact location to initiate extradition proceedings. The special NIA court in Delhi had issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him due to his non-appearance in the case. The case involves Khalistani organizations such as Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) as well as North India-based gangsters. They are suspected of involvement in terror attacks, smuggling of arms and drugs from Pakistan using drones, targeted killings and extortion from industrialists, traders and professionals.
