Recently, the trial run of China’s first air train i.e. Quangqu Sky Rail train was completed in Wuhan, the capital of central China’s Hubei province. Actually, it hangs below the Sky Rail track, which takes ground transportation into the air. As a three-dimensional mode of transport, the Sky Rail does not obstruct other vehicles and pedestrians on the ground. It is a green and low carbon new system of urban rail transit.
According to the information received, this Kwangku Sky Rail runs at a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour and can carry 220 people. In addition, trains can be flexibly arranged between 2-6 coaches to meet the transport needs of different passenger flows. The total length of the Kwangku Sky Rail Line is approximately 26.7 kilometers, with 16 stations.
Explain that this rail has a fully automatic unmanned driving function, and it can run without manual operation. Train drivers have to be present in the train only to deal with emergencies. As planned, the Quangqu Sky Rail is expected to go into operation this year and will become the first sky rail line to operate in China.
