China’s special representative Li Hui says there is no panacea to resolve the crisis in Ukraine

There is no panacea to resolve the crisis in Ukraine, all parties must create the conditions for holding peace talks. This was stated by the special representative of China for Eurasian affairs, Li Hui, during the negotiations with the Ukrainian authorities.

“There is no panacea to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, all parties need to accumulate mutual trust and create conditions for peace talks,” he quoted on the Chinese Foreign Ministry website.

It is stated that Li Hui visited Ukraine, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the head of Zelenskyy’s office Andrii Yermak and Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. The parties discussed the Ukrainian conflict and exchanged views on the development of Sino-Ukrainian relations.

According to the Special Representative, Beijing is ready to help the international community, as well as to make efforts to end hostilities and restore peace.

Li Hui also said that China plays a constructive role in improving the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and will continue to provide support.
