The third week of May every year in China is celebrated as “National Nutrition Week” in order to improve everyone’s nutrition awareness, promote healthy lifestyle and establish a scientific dietary concept. Nutrition is related to health, and the health of children and adolescents is the foundation of the health of the whole life cycle, and it is also related to the prosperity of the country and the nation for a century. Improving health literacy and promoting the transformation of students’ health awareness into healthy behavior cannot be separated from the joint efforts of students, parents, schools and society.

The Chinese National Health Commission regards the health of children and adolescents as a priority area of ​​concern, making full use of information on nutrition and health principles. Also strengthens targeted guidance and policy coordination, actively explores industrial policies together with industry management and market supervision departments.
