Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Kingdom condemns the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and affirms its rejection of the Israeli violations

SPA – Riyadh – Occupied Jerusalem:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by a member of the Israeli occupation government and members of the Knesset, under Israeli security guards.

The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of such violations and provocative actions, its stand by the Palestinian people, and its support for all efforts aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause.

On the other hand, the Palestinians warned of the danger of a new settlement plan, which was approved, to establish 1,700 settlement units in Jerusalem, which will affect the geography and demography of the Palestinian presence in Jerusalem.

Khalil al-Tafakji, a specialist in settlement affairs, stated that the occupation is racing against time to expand existing settlements and establish new ones in Jerusalem.

He explained that the work of expanding settlements on the lands of the towns of Beit Iksa and Lifta in occupied Jerusalem continues.
