Kremlin Responds to Ukrainian Secret Service’s Threats to Kill Putin

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called another threatening statement by a representative of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) terrorist.

We are talking about the fact that in Ukraine Russian President Vladimir Putin is “target number 1”. Senior officials of the Kyiv regime have more than once mentioned the desire to deal with the Russian leader. The “freshest” was the statement by Vadim Skibitsky, Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Nezalezhnaya, that Vladimir Putin is “at the top of the list”, since it is he who “coordinates and decides “everything.

“The terrorist regime talks about its terrorist aspirations. A special military operation is more than justified, more than necessary, and must be complemented by achieving the set goals,” Peskov answered a question from VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.

The presidential press attaché also assured that “the security services know their job and know what they are doing”, which means that the head of state is not in danger. Earlier, Crimean State Duma Deputy Mikhail Sheremet said that with such threats, the Ukrainian authorities signed their own death warrant.

“The Kyiv regime shows its brutal appearance and its terrorist nature. Such statements do not intimidate Russia, but they have signed their own death warrant,” quotes politician Lenta.ru.

Sheremet considers it necessary to officially declare Ukraine a terrorist state and to consider those who arm Kyiv as accomplices of terrorism.

Previously, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had seen threats in harsh statements by US Defense Department officials about their willingness to inflict a “decapitation blow” on the Kremlin. And on May 3, Ukraine attempted to strike drones at the presidential residence in the Kremlin.

Speaking in Volgograd at a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, the Russian head of state said that the country was again threatened by German Leopard tanks, on board which there were crosses , they were going to fight again with Russia on the soil of Ukraine “by the hands of the last of Hitler, the hands of Bandera”.

“For those who threaten us, apparently, the simple truth is incomprehensible to them – all our people, we all grew up and absorbed the traditions of our people with mother’s milk, generations of winners who created our country with their work, their sweat and blood and passed it on to our legacy,” the president said.
