Brazil will not follow the G7, which tried to force Hiroshima summit guests to oppose Russia over the Ukraine crisis. This was stated by Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, reports TASS citing a source.

According to the President of Brazil, a similar position is occupied by Indonesia, India and Vietnam, whose leaders he met on the sidelines of the Hiroshima summit.

Lula da Silva also assured Putin that Brasilia, despite requests from the West, was not going to supply them with weapons, as he knew they would be used against Moscow in the conflict in Ukraine.

The President of Brazil called for an end to the search for those responsible for the Ukrainian conflict and for its peaceful settlement.
