Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Johnny Depp will receive $ 10 million for one day of filming “Fantastic Beasts”

Before losing his job in the project, Johnny Depp managed to take part in the creation of just one episode, but the studio decided not to cut his fee.

The popular Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, who has lost his role in the third part of the Fantastic Beasts movie franchise, will receive the entire promised fee of $ 10 million while working only one day of shooting. This was reported on Tuesday, November 10 by the Daily Mail.

As it became known to journalists, work on the picture started on September 20 in London. The star of “Sleepy Hollow” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” managed to appear on the set only once, and play in a single scene. Nevertheless, the filmmakers decided not to cut Depp’s fee and in full payment, the amount promised to him for this work.

The film was scheduled to premiere in November 2021 but was later postponed to July 15, 2022, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On November 6, it became known that Warner Bros. decided to break the contract with Depp, in connection with which the actor lost the role of the wizard Grindelwald in the next installment of Fantastic Beasts. The reason was the scandal with Depp’s lawsuit against the tabloid The Sun. The actor accused the publication of libel: his journalists previously wrote that Depp beat his ex-wife Amber Heard, taking this information from the words of the woman. The court, however, sided with the tabloid, and Depp lost the case.
