Submit Your Pitch
The Eastern Herald cordially invites submissions of unsolicited articles and blog posts. If you possess a keen interest in contributing to our esteemed publication, we kindly request you to complete the form provided below.
Crucial Reminders:
To be considered for publication, please send us your article pitches or completed pieces using the designated form.
While we appreciate all forms of content, we prioritize original reporting and insightful analysis. Please note that our coverage is primarily focused on the Asia-Pacific region.
For submissions to our blog sections, we suggest a word count ranging from 400 to 800 words. Feature articles, on the other hand, generally span between 1,200 to 1,500 words. If you are considering original reporting, we highly recommend pitching your ideas to the editor in advance.
When attaching a complete article, we kindly request you to submit it in Word document format rather than PDF. To acknowledge sources, we encourage the use of hyperlinks instead of footnotes or endnotes.
If you are seeking compensation for your work, please indicate this clearly in your pitch, and kindly inform us if the article has been published elsewhere. It is important to note that any form of payment must be agreed upon by the editor in advance.
Due to the substantial volume of submissions we receive on a daily basis, we regretfully inform you that we will only be able to contact you if we decide to accept your piece. If you have not received a response within three business days, you are free to submit your article to other publications.
Please submit your article or pitch only once, avoiding multiple submissions to multiple editors.
We are excited to receive your insightful contributions and appreciate your interest in being a part of The Eastern Herald.
