In China, one new case of coronavirus infection, imported from abroad, as well as 15 asymptomatic cases within the country, were revealed per day, according to the website of the National Health Commission of the PRC.
A new patient, who came from abroad, was found in the city of Tianjin, which is located in the north of the country. The committee noted that there are no new deaths.
An outbreak occurred in December 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Then, infections were detected in all regions of the PRC, all European countries, the USA, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Israel, Egypt and other states.
According to the World Health Organization, more than 3.7 million cases of the disease were detected in the world, nearly 260 thousand people died. According to Johns Hopkins University, the number of infections in the world exceeded 3.9 million, and 274 thousand people died.
Earlier it was reported that China announced the foreign nature of the coronavirus, namely that it was brought into the country from the United States.
