Trump claims that he did not hide in the bunker, but simply inspecting it; George Floyd Protest

US President Donald Trump assures that he did not hide in the bunker during the protests under the White House, but simply went down there to “look” at him.

So, in a Fox News radio interview quoted by The Hill , Trump insisted that he went down into the bunker during the day, but not during night protests, and simply “wanted to inspect him.”

The US president said he was not afraid of problems since the White House security service is doing an “incredible job” to ensure order.

“I went down during the day and I was there for a tiny, little short period of time, and it was much more for an inspection…I’ve gone down two or three times, all for inspection.,” Trump said.

Due to protests in 25 cities, curfews have been imposed. To respond to the unrest, Trump recommended that governors and mayors recruit National Guard fighters.
