Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is developing means aimed at counteracting the hypersonic weapons of other countries.
Russia is already in the dog fight of arms with the United States and China. It is very likely that Russia already has produced such weapons to counter the hypersonic attacks of the US or China, said a ministry of defense official in a talk with The Eastern Herald.
It is to be remembered here that last month US President Donald Trump introduced Russia again to the special group of nations of security heads, G7. President Trump wished to place India and Russia both in the panel of G7 countries making it G9.

“It is very likely that we will have the means to fight hypersonic weapons at a time when the world’s leading powers will have such weapons,” the RIA news agency quoted Putin as saying, as reported by other agencies.
