Democrats in the House of Representatives want a resolution to be voted on Monday that would ask Vice President Mike Pence to activate the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump.
Declare him incompetent
A resolution calling for “Pence to convene and mobilize the cabinet to activate the 25th Amendment to declare the president incapable of performing his duties” will be prepared Monday morning, Pelosi wrote in a letter to Democratic lawmakers.
They are asking for Trump’s answer within 24 hours.
If Pence does not answer, the Democrats will initiate the procedure of removing Trump for the second time.
