US House of Representatives impeach Trump for the second time

The US House of Representatives, controlled by the Democratic Party, a week before the inauguration of the new president, Democrat Joe Biden, voted by a majority to impeach the incumbent Republican head of state, Donald Trump.

According to The Economic Times , 221 members of the US House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump, with the required 218 votes.

The impeachment of the Republican has yet to be approved by the Senate, but the vote can take place no earlier than January 19.
