Zelenskyy spoke with Erdogan about the importance of unblocking Ukrainian ports and grain exports

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on his Twitter profile about a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan .

Zelenskyy stated that he thanked Erdogan, who sent his condolences on the occasion of the new civilian victims of Russian aggression.

–  Held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Thanked for condolences over new civilian victims of the Russian aggression. We appreciate 🇹🇷 support. Discussed the importance of unblocking 🇺🇦 ports and resuming grain exports. We must also prevent Russia from taking our grain from TOT – Zelenskyy wrote.

Erdogan, stating that he wishes for peace to be established in Ukraine as soon as possible, said that they continue to work on the plan prepared by the United Nations for the delivery of Ukrainian grains to the world market.
