And now that hour has come”.
Thanks to the adoption of such an important strategic decision, explained the Deputy Prime Minister, “a single space is being created where common rules and laws in industrial policy will be used”.
The signing of the bilateral agreement, according to him, can be considered as almost completing the work that the governments of the two brotherly countries have done in the industrial sector within the framework of 28 integration programs.

And this document, he explained, “as if supplementing the complex of issues that determine the development of industry in Belarus and Russia.”
Certainly, even before the signing of this agreement, the partners were taking steps towards the transition to a unified industrial policy. As an example, he cited a joint decision on the issue of replacing engines in the production of BELAZ 220-ton trucks from Western units to Russian units.
Another successful result of cooperation, he called the agreements on the production in both countries of unified units and components for vehicles of the MAZ and KAMAZ brands. First, it reduces the cost of the final product and, therefore, makes it more affordable. “And quite a few such projects have already been implemented,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister, adding that the document signed today allows “to achieve technological sovereignty within the framework of the State of the ‘Union”.
In addition, Parkhomchik clarified that the agreement entered into force upon signing and that in the near future the parties will draw up a detailed roadmap for its implementation.
