Some opponents of the president even claim that he has serious mental problems, given the occasional moments of confusion and his slurred speech.
Nikki Haley, a 51-year-old Republican who just entered the race, on Wednesday called for intelligence tests for any elected official over the age of 75. That also applies to 76-year-old former President Donald Trump, his potential rival. Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the UN, hopes to capitalize on a push for elite renewal among the U.S. electorate, who polls show want no more of a second term from Biden than a new Trump presidency.
