US President Joe Biden arrived in Kiev by train, according to The New York Times. The visit of the American leader to the Ukrainian capital took place on Monday morning, February 20.
Biden made a clandestine trip to the Ukrainian capital after arriving there after an hour-long train ride from the border with Poland.
Joe Biden’s visit to Kiev was held in secret for security reasons. The president left Washington unannounced on Saturday evening after he and his wife dined at a restaurant.
Biden and Zelenskyy last met in December, when the Ukrainian leader in Washington turned to Congress for more military assistance.
