On the Day of Remembrance of the Heavenly Hundred – the victims of the clashes on the Maidan in 2014 – central streets were blocked in Kiev. According to the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua, there are huge traffic jams in the city center.

Earlier it became known that US President Joe Biden will visit Poland on February 21. He will launch an appeal, which will also be addressed to Russian citizens and personally to Vladimir Putin.
In February 2015, Petro Poroshenko, by his decree, established the national holiday “Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred” on February 20. The date was introduced “in memory of the feat of the participants in the Revolution of Dignity”. The “Heavenly Hundred” in Ukraine are called the citizens divided into the so-called “centurion” and who died during the confrontation in Kiev during the “Euromaidan”. It is believed that on February 20 the greatest number of people died in the Ukrainian capital.
