A criminal case has been opened against a military general practitioner who refused to participate in hostilities in the special operation area. Lawyer Pavel Chikov shared the details of the incident.
Medical Lieutenant Denis Vasiliev graduated from the military medical academy last year. The young man did not have time to retire early from the ranks of the RF Armed Forces due to the mobilization announced in September. And therefore, he accepted the offer of the leadership of the Northern Fleet Medical Service to transfer to Franz Josef Land.
“However, before the transfer order was received, the unit received another order – to leave for the war zone, which the doctor refused to carry out due to personal beliefs,” Chikov wrote on his Telegram channel.

A criminal case was opened against a military doctor under Part 2.1 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (non-compliance with an order during the period of mobilization). The doctor faces up to three years in prison.
It is noteworthy that even during the service Vasiliev actively helped to fight the coronavirus in the red zone. For which he received the medal of the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, a urologist from Ufa spoke about his mobilization in the SVO zone. On the front line, he will participate in the evacuation of the wounded and provide them with first aid.
