Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov was not satisfied with the content of the message of the President of Russia to the Federal Assembly. The message did not say a word about the steps that should be taken to change the course of the war into a victorious course, into a positive course, he said in a conversation with RTVI.
“Not a word was said about changing the regime of a special military operation, which, as you know, has no legal regime, nothing was said about mobilizing the industry of the home front, not a word was said about the introduction of martial law, military jurisprudence, and nothing was said at all.
Most of all, the president, according to my calculations, complained about the partners, but at the same time he did not say a word about how he was going to counter this – apart from very vague statements about the fact that weapons at longer ranges are provided, the further the front will go from the borders of the Russian Federation.
Moreover, he did not hear at all what he did not count on, but many secretly hoped: not a word was said about the failures, defeats and the culprits of these failures and defeats. The general meaning of the president’s speech is that everything is fine, everything is fine, the army is fighting well, everything is fine with the weapons, and it will be even better with the economy too, and even more so with military production.
I have to say that no conclusions have been drawn from the failures of the past, everything will continue in the same spirit, without radical changes, and, unfortunately, it will not end in anything good.
President Vladimir Putin addressed the Federal Assembly for the 18th time. This year, the main topic of the speech was the military operation and the confrontation with the West.
