Ukraine is preparing for a big battle on two fronts – military and diplomatic. This was announced during the February 20 telethon by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
“Now, you see, there is a clear feeling that we are preparing for a great battle on the battlefield and a battle on the diplomatic battlefield. And now the maximum mobilization of all friends, of all those that effectively help Ukraine is needed,” RBC-Ukraine Kuleba quotes.
According to the minister, a meeting of the leaders of the countries of the eastern flank of NATO will soon be held in Poland, where important decisions on support for Ukraine can be taken, reports the television channel TSN.
The day before, Kuleba published on Facebook* his upcoming trips to Brussels, The Hague and New York.
Brussels will host the first Ukraine-EU-NATO trilateral meeting to coordinate efforts on weapons, training and increase the work of the defense industry, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
Negotiations on the supply of arms and Ukraine’s accession to the European Union are planned in The Hague. In New York, Kuleba will attend meetings of the UN General Assembly and Security Council. At a meeting of the General Assembly, a draft resolution in favor of peace in Ukraine will be considered, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
On February 20, US President Joe Biden paid an unannounced visit to Kiev. He announced a new program of military aid to Ukraine, including the supply of artillery ammunition, anti-tank systems and radars. According to the New York Times and Reuters, the United States will allocate about $500 million more for this.
