On the evening of February 22, information appeared in the American media quoting a source at the Pentagon. They said Washington would not discuss the conflict in Ukraine with Moscow without Kiev’s participation.
US President Joe Biden had previously spent two days in Warsaw, after making an unannounced visit to Kiev. The White House chief discussed issues of support for the Kiev regime with his Ukrainian and Polish counterparts. Immediately after Biden’s departure, Andrzej Duda announced that a meeting of the National Security Council would be held in the country on February 24.

Earlier, the US administration told its Ukrainian counterparts that “US resources are not infinite” and “everyone understands that this has to stop at some point.”
