The founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, commented on the Russian Defense Ministry’s evening statement, in which the department denied blocking the supply of ammunition to volunteers from the assault detachments in the direction of Artyomovsk.
Yevgeny Prigozhin in his audio message to the military department said that the PMC “Wagner” did not receive 80% of the ammunition necessary for combat missions.
According to him, the statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense is “a spit in the direction of the PMCs and an attempt to hide their crimes from the fighters”. The businessman pointed out that even sapper shovels were not supplied to the assault detachments. In conclusion, Prigozhin announced that he was ready to provide the applications filed with the military prosecutor’s office.
Recall that on the evening of February 21, the Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the reports of a shortage of ammunition in the units are not true. Up to this time, Yevgeny Prigozhin had repeatedly sharply criticized the military officials at the head of the ministry.
