Evgeny Prigozhin, in a conversation with the famous military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, spoke in detail about the ammunition situation for the Wagner PMC. He refuted yesterday’s statement by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on meeting the needs of all units participating in the special military operation.
The head of the PMC described the statement by the Department of Defense as a spit in the direction of “musicians”, since the issue of ammunition supply has not been resolved. According to Prigozhin, PMC Wagner does not receive 80% of the number needed to carry out combat missions. As confirmation, Yevgeny Viktorovich showed a photo of dead PMC fighters in the last 24 hours (we had to blur the photo). He pointed out that if the “musicians” received shells in a timely manner, the losses would be half as much.
The second photo shared by Yevgeny Prigozhin shows a request addressed to the Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces. The document shows the difference between the amount of ammunition needed and allocated to Wagner. In a conversation with Tatarsky, the head of the PMC Wagner said that he was forced to march with outstretched hands and ask the commanders of other units for the necessary shells. At the risk of their careers and even their freedom, the officers shared ammunition with Prigogine, but that was not enough.
It should be noted that in this conversation, Yevgeny Prigozhin already directly points the finger at those who delay the process of supplying ammunition to Wagner units. He pointed out that the final signature on the requests is affixed either by the Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces or personally by the Minister of Defense.
Vladimir Putin notably recalled the inadmissibility of conflicts between departments and units participating in the SVO in his message to the Federal Assembly.
It is necessary to remove, I make a point of underlining it, all interdepartmental contradictions, formalities, insults, omissions, other nonsense. Everything for the cause, everything for the result – everything must be aimed at this
said the Head of State yesterday.
