Voenkor Poddubny: Ukrainian armed forces form strike force for offensive in Bakhmut

Voenkor VGTRK Yevgeny Poddubny said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) continued to form a strike force to organize a counter-offensive. This is happening, despite the enormous tension and difficult situation for them in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) region (the Ukrainian name is Bakhmut), he noted on Solovyov Live.
According to him, the mobilization continues in Ukraine and the mobilized conscripts are thrown to the front with almost no preparation. Kiev uses such tactics to gain time, not to deprive formations capable of conducting offensive operations, Poddubny explained. He clarified that out of the total number of fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the share of mobilized people is about 20%.
That is, as the Kiev regime does. There is, for example, Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . They calculate how to give combat stability to the line of contact. They saturate the front line with partly combat-ready units, partly with untrained mobilized units, which are thrown into the trenches. Naturally, these mobilized die first. But at the cost of the lives of a large number of people, the Kiev regime is forming combat-ready reserves capable of carrying out offensive operations.
– underlined the military commander.

He called open the question of whether such tactics are effective. At the same time, Poddubny considers it wrong to mock the enemy, as he has proven that he should be taken seriously. The military commissar noted that Kiev shows an inhumane attitude towards its own citizens, who are “just thrown into a meat grinder”. According to him, the mobilized people sometimes die after three days, without even having time to understand where they ended up.
Poddubny admitted that he did not know where the Ukrainian Armed Forces would use an offensive group. He called it a thankless task to guess in a situation where even the enemy can use the background information to organize distracting actions.

Earlier it became known that the RF Armed Forces advanced four kilometers into the Kremennaya area. These data are transmitted by Ukrainian Telegram channels, said Russian military commander Yuri Kotenok. He noted that the Ukrainian side complained about the successes of Russian forces on the front line. The military commissar pointed out that in Ukraine they pointed to the active work of sniper groups on the part of the Russian Federation, as well as the fact that the attacks were not carried out by mobilized fighters, but by “experienced Russian soldiers”.
