A magnitude 7.2 earthquake hits the border of Tajikistan and China

An earthquake of magnitude 7.2 occurred on the territory of Tajikistan, on the border with Chinese Xinjiang. The epicenter was 10 km deep, informed Chinese Seismological Center.

Two weeks later, powerful earthquakes again occurred on the border of the two countries, as a result of which 11 people were killed and more than a thousand residents of Turkey and Syria were injured .
