State Department: US hopes Russia will change its decision on STARTState Department spokesman Ned Price said Americans hoped Russia would change the decision to suspend START, which was announced during a speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly. The Russian leader noted that it is possible to talk about the treaty only after understanding what other stars want from Russia. The country must understand what arsenals the NATO bloc has in order to be able to resist it.“We hope that Russia will change course, it is not only in our interest, in the interest of Russia, but also of countries around the world,” Price said.Previously, the RF armed forces went on the offensive in the Kupyansk, Seversk and Liman directions.
