Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov commented on the recent explosions in Mariupol, which is under the control of Russian forces. According to him, the Ukrainian army will continue to strike all the cities of the new regions of the Russian Federation.
– Periodically [в Мариуполе] what happens is what should happen. The Ukrainian armed forces can strike either at 100 kilometers, or at 150 kilometers, or a little more,” Danilov said.
The president of the “South” operational command Natalya Gumenyuk had not previously ruled out that the Ukrainian army would strike in Mariupol. According to the representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this direction “is no longer absolutely inaccessible”.
There is currently no official confirmation of rocket arrivals in Mariupol. The authorities also do not comment on the receipt of long-range weapons by Kiev.
