United States congratulated Estonia on Independence Day

On Friday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made a special statement on February 24, Estonia’s Independence Day, and congratulated the people of Estonia on behalf of the United States.
Blinken said in a statement that “the close partnership and alliance between the United States and Estonia for more than 100 years is built on a commitment to democratic values, a determination to maintain the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the states and a desire to expand economic opportunities.”
“I am optimistic about our shared future, which will improve the well-being of our citizens and further expand our dynamic people-to-people connections,” Blinken said.
The US Secretary of State underlined that “Over the past year, Estonia has demonstrated unwavering support for Ukraine, whose people defend their country and their freedom in the face of brutal Russian aggression. . The United States will continue to work in unwavering solidarity with Estonia to protect NATO territory, support Ukraine, and counter Russian aggression and malign influence.
The statement also said, “The United States and Estonia stand together for strong transatlantic ties to defend against security threats and challenges to our economies and democracies as we work to strengthen human rights. of man for all.”
