The authorities of the United States of America are responsible for fueling the conflict in Ukraine. But they are trying to blame what is happening on Russia, TASS quotes the president of Cuba’s National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Laso.

– On behalf of the Cuban parliament, we once again express the strongest condemnation of the unilateral sanctions imposed on Russia. We oppose Russia’s policy of isolating Russia through a powerful media enterprise aimed at inciting hatred towards the Russian Federation, which they seek to accuse of aggravating the conflict, said the Cuban politician during a conversation with State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.

During the meeting, which took place in Havana, Laso explained that his country is very familiar with the methods used by America. It is she who is considered guilty in Cuba for the confrontation which is currently taking place between Kiev and Moscow.

Also, on behalf of Cuba, the parliamentarian condemned NATO. The North Atlantic Alliance should not be as close to Russia’s borders as the West would like.

Earlier, the regional chief reported that Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel had expressed his views on the Ukrainian conflict.
