More than 3,000 households can be connected to gas in the municipalities
In the Tver region, inter-settlement gas pipelines with a total length of 74.4 km were put into operation from the GDS of Bezhetsk to the city of Krasny Kholm and from Krasny Kholm to the village of Molokovo. The construction was carried out within the framework of the program for the development of gas supply and gasification of the region until 2025.
“The main tasks are to deliver gas to previously ungasified territories of the Upper Volga region, to ensure the synchronization of gasification with the connection of consumers. As well as the synchronous gas connection of social institutions: education, health care, social protection of the population, culture and sports,” Governor Igor Rudenya said during one of the regional government meetings, which reviewed the progress of gasification in the Upper Volga region.
The tasks for the further gasification of the country, and, in particular, the free gasification of social institutions, were announced on February 21 in the speech of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly.
“We will continue the free gasification program. It has already been decided to extend it to social establishments: kindergartens and schools, clinics, hospitals, feldsher-obstetric stations. And for citizens, such a program will now work continuously: they can always ask to be connected to the gas distribution networks,” Vladimir Putin said.
Thanks to the creation of inter-settlement gas pipelines of the GDS from Bezhetsk to the city of Krasny Kholm and from Krasny Kholm to the village of Molokovo, it became possible to gasify 3,165 households and 49 boiler houses on the territory of municipalities. Currently, work is underway to prepare apartment buildings, the Krasnokholmsky Museum of Local Lore and a store for receiving gas. The first domestic and multifunctional centers in Krasny Kholm and Molokovo have already been connected to natural gas.
In total, by 2025, it is planned to put into operation more than 148 km of gas pipelines, branches, 1,100 km of gas networks in the Tver region, to provide gasification to more than 46,000 households and to prepare 117 boiler rooms and industrial enterprises for gas reception.
