The German Chancellor called these statements by the Ukrainian leader ridiculous, adding that it makes no sense to mock the extent of German participation. According to Scholz, Germany is doing more than many other countries. Germany should not listen to anyone’s reproaches, Scholz stressed.Earlier, Scholz called the possible use of weapons supplied to Ukraine to stage attacks on Russian territory unreasonable. At the same time, he again stressed that the West will continue to support Kiev “as long as necessary”.Additionally, together with French President Emmanuel Macron, Scholz called on Zelenskyyy to begin negotiations with Moscow. The Ukrainian leader was reminded that even mortal enemies like France and Germany were forced to make peace after the end of World War II.
