February 27, 2023, 08:54 – Public Information Service – TEH – Politico editor Jamie Dettmer explained in his article why Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not expected to stay in office after the end of fighting in the conflict with Russia.
“He became president without any political experience or experience in managing state structures. He thought it was actually quite simple to govern the state,” the words of a Ukrainian journalist, Nikolai Kniazhitsky, are quoted in the publication.
Adrian Karatnytsky, senior researcher at the Atlantic Council, noted that right now Zelenskyyy understands what the current situation demands and has all the power behind him. However, such a strategy will not work in times of peace.
Verkhovna Rada Deputy Lesya Vasilenko in a conversation with Dettmer drew attention to the fact that Zelenskyyy has surrounded himself with non-professional experts who make miscalculations in the president’s policy.
