Ukrainian investigators have identified a circle of suspects involved in the murder last March of Denis Kireev, a member of the first Ukrainian delegation in negotiations with Russia, writes TASS with reference to Ukrainska Pravda.
It should be noted that during the investigation, law enforcement officers interviewed 20 people as witnesses and carried out other activities.
– During the preliminary investigation of the specified criminal procedure, a circle of persons involved in the commission of a criminal offense was formed. 20 people were interviewed as witnesses, 14 forensic experts were appointed and a number of other investigative actions were carried out, the publication said, citing sources from the military prosecutor’s office and the defense.
Earlier, an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensyy’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, said Kireev was not a Kremlin agent and was linked to the intelligence department. In February last year he was shot due to disagreements between law enforcement.
